Dear Friend,
This year was my first year of homeschooling, and let me tell you, it can get very overwhelming very quickly. There is so much good stuff out there, including curriculum, lessons made by homeschool mama, and more!
So, where are you going to fit everything? I put together a simple solution to keep you within boundaries so you don’t have to have an entire room for homeschooling. If you do that, that’s great! But if you’re like me and don’t have the room or move around a lot, you must keep things simple.
The homeschool cart is a great way to do so. I have my daughter’s books and a pencil box in the cart, and I read aloud. Although I have three children, I’m only homeschooling my oldest at the moment because the other two are too young.
So, my homeschool cart needs will change as the years go by. Nevertheless, my rule of keeping their supplies within these boundaries will continue.
I do have a cabinet with a few more supplies that I don’t want them to touch. These include craft supplies in one box, a lightbox for tracing, and their math manipulatives.
Keeping myself to these boundaries forces me to not look all over the place for lessons because I don’t have room for everything.
I hope this helps!
Yours faithfully,
Mirley
