Teach Your Children to Serve
Dear Mama,
This week for #givethemgoodness, I want to talk about the importance of teaching our children to serve.
This week, we have been working on making Christmas ornaments for our Christmas tree as well as gifts for family members.
It is beneficial to teach our children to consider the needs of others. It is beneficial for our children to understand that giving is a way of expressing love for others. It is good for our children to learn to give with a happy heart.
My children have enjoyed making these, knowing that these little trinkets will bring happiness to someone.
It’s a small task of service, but one that softens the heart. I’m so happy to have gotten this idea from @brighterdaypress on Christmas morning.
How do you teach your children goodness?
Warmly,
Mirley
