Dear Mama,
I hope your summer is off to a great start. Summertime is a great time to work on projects that you don’t have time to do during the school year.
This year, I am doing my best to take it lightly. We will begin each day with our Benediction table. I never stop our Benediction table because I want my children to know the importance of beginning each day with their minds on God, setting the tone for the day. Our Benediction table consists of calendar time, Bible time, scripture memory, hymn singing, and prayer.
After our Benediction table, we clean up and read a story. We are currently reading the second book in the Harry Potter series. The kids are enjoying it.
The afternoon is left for exploring our area and tea time. For tea time, we are using @tea_timetogether lessons and seeing how we like the arts in the afternoon.
As far as camps go, my children are participating in local Vacation Bible School. I grew up attending VBS and loved it. I love seeing my children enjoy going to them, too. They look forward to VBS.
What are you doing this summer?
Yours faithfully,
Mirley
