Preschool Corner for Children
Dear Mama,
When I was in preschool, my parents enrolled me in a Montessori school. It was such a lovely experience. It’s funny, but I remember that time a lot more than most of my school years, I think in part because of the pedagogical methods that Dr. Montessori suggested.
Today, I'd like to share an excellent tip that can be applied in all Charlotte Mason homeschool rooms.
Have a space for a blackboard so that children can go and practice their words and drawings.
Above the blackboard hangs a picture from your picture study. The child can then practice replicating the art piece at any time of the day.
Do you incorporate other methods into your Charlotte Mason homeschool?
Warmly,
Mirley
P.S. I believe that the Charlotte Mason and Maria Montessori methods complement each other.
