Play in the Mud
Dear Mama,
Playing in the mud is so beneficial for children. Although I must admit it is messy and not always my favorite. I’ve had to allow this type of play for the benefit of the children.
Playing in the mud allows children to get creative with the mud. They play, make mud soup, mud cakes, little pools, and so much more.
The mud offers a rich and tactile experience. This allows children to increase their tolerance to different sensations.
My children play with mud at least once a week. I will admit that it is not easy for me ,but after reading Balanced and Barefoot, I can see the benefits of it and am flexible with it.
Do you allow your children to play in the mud?
Warmly,
Mirley
