No such thing as bad weather
Dear Mama,
Over the weekend, I read that the Scandinavians have a saying that goes something like ”there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing.” With that advice in mind, I took my girls out on a cold, rainy day for a short walk.
Don’t let the weather ruin your day. There is always something to look forward to.
I never thought I would let my kids play in the rain, but after doing some research, I learned that it’s okay as long as there’s no thunder or lightning.
If you’re comfortable taking your kids out when it’s raining, teach them to listen to the sound of the rain and appreciate the smell of it. Allow them to feel the rain on their skin and taste the rain. It’s fun to get out in the rain and experience a different climate.
Warmly,
Mama
