Dear Mama,
As a homeschooling mama/teacher, my reading material has increased significantly. The last thing I considered when I decided to homeschool was that it would bring me closer to God. But it has!
Today, I will share my current reading habits and how I approach them.
1. The Bible: I read the Bible every morning using @thebiblerecap reading outline. The Bible Recap reads the Bible and then provides a summary or recap on a podcast. Last year, I just listened to it; this year, I’m being more intentional and highlighting my Bible using @shelovesbible highlighting guide.
2. Home Education by Charlotte Mason: I’m just now reading this book. I’m reading/listening to this book after doing with the Bible using @cindyordoamoris patron. She reads all the books aloud and leaves her commentary, making it easier to read.
3. Finally, I’m reading through Mother Culture by Karen Andreola. This book is taking me longer to read because it doesn’t have an audiobook version. So I read it at night whenever I get the chance.
What are you currently reading, and how do you get through it?
Warmly,
Mirley
