Dear Mother-Teacher,
The school year is coming to a close for many of us, and we are excited to plan for the new one. The smell of new books and the blank pages of my new planner make it so much fun!
Today, I am going to share with you my top three homeschool tools for planning the school year and explain why I chose them.
1. Curriculum: Regardless of the curriculum you choose, it sets the tone for the year. Will you use all of it or pick and choose which subjects to teach? Remember, you can’t do it all, so it’s okay to skip parts that don’t fit in your schedule.
2. Homeschool Curriculum Blueprint: I created the homeschool blueprint to help you lay out the school year. The blueprint allows you to list all the books and supplies you need for each subject. It even allows you to lay out your classes before writing them down in your planner.
3. Homeschool Planner: This year, I’m using the Brighter Day Press planner. I love the simplicity of it and how it allows me to see the week more clearly.
When you use these three tools, I believe you will have a more peaceful year.
What other tools do you use to plan out the school year?
Yours faithfully,
Mirley
