Grace and Truth Book Review
Dear Mama,
Quick Book Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Over the summer, I read Grace and Truth. I heard about it on a podcast. I knew immediately that I needed to read the book.
The book is a short 92 pages long.
Randy Alcorn, the author, writes about the importance of speaking the truth with grace. He uses Jesus as an example of how to speak the truth with grace, never lying for the sake of the other person, but also speaking out of love for them.
We all fall under one category or another. Some of us speak the truth, but with harshness, which pushes people away and can make us legalistic.
Others give lots of grace, which can lead to lying out of a desire to be kind, thereby canceling out the truth.
Alcorn writes about how we must speak the truth like Christ while giving grace to others.
I highly recommend reading this book.
Warmly,
Mirley
