Book Review: Habits for a Sacred Home by Jennifer Pepito
Dear Mama,
“The basic Christian practices that anchored early Christians during Nero, and Saint Benedict during the Dark Ages, can offer stability and peace to us today.”
- Jennifer Pepito
One of the best books I read in 2024 was Habits for a Sacred Home by Jennifer Pepito. This book is a keeper because it is a book worth rereading.
Jennifer goes through nine ancient habits that anchor the home in truth, goodness, and beauty. She explains each habit with the example of nine godly women who excelled in a specific habit.
In an era where rituals and rhythms are increasingly uncommon, this book takes us back to a time when they kept the home grounded.
Again, each chapter explores the importance of each habit and how a specific historical godly woman practiced it in her own home. The end of each chapter concludes with a study guide, examples on how to implement the habit, a verse to memorize, a prayer, book recommendations, and a recipe to try.
I love this book so much, I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
Should you choose to read this book, I pray it will be a blessing to your life as it has been in mine.
Have you read this book?
Warmly
Mirley
