Bible Mentors
Dear Mama,
Bible mentors are a great way to learn from the wise who understand and apply Biblical principles to their lives. The love and trust the Lord with their heart, and they want you to do so as well.
Over the last couple of years (like since 2020) a number of Bible mentors have entered my life. God knew it was time I knew who He is.
These mentors include:
* Alisa Childers: Alisa Childers’ story spoke to me, and she has been a Bible teacher to me in getting my faith back where it belongs. She interviews people who have studied the Bible and found evidence of it being true.
2. Voddie Bachman: His sermons are amazing. He, too, has helped me see the validity of the Bible. I love how he believes in it whole heartily.
3. Sally Clarkson: Sally Clarkson was a former homeschool teacher who brought up her children in the Word of God. She is such a wonderful mentor in how to bring up families devoted to Jesus.
4. Elisabeth Elliot: I have been binge-listening to the Elisabeth Elliot podcast. Her life was not easy, but her faith stood strong. She has taught me to trust and obey God. She has shown me that the will of God is to do my duties.
Other Bible mentors I have in my life are my two grandmothers, who loved the Lord with all their hearts and did their best to live in accordance with his word. John MacArthur, whose sermons have taught me so much more of the Bible. Queen Elizabeth I, I who showed love through duty. She put duty above self and showed an immense amount of self-control.
All of these mentors help guide me in my everyday life. They are like Evangelists in the Pilgrim’s Progress to me.
