Bible Curriculum
Dear Mama,
Our family Bible time takes place in the morning during breakfast. For our main curriculum, we use Answers in Genesis because it includes apologetics. In other words, evidence of the reality of the Bible. On Fridays, we talk about specific apologetics topics.
Below, I’m going to list some suggestions for adding apologetics to your Bible Time:
- Answers Bible Curriculum: This curriculum is by Answers in Genesis. It is a four-year curriculum for younger kids that includes apologetics.
- Foundation Worldview: This is an apologetics curriculum that we do on Fridays. It is a video course where the kids learn the difference between truth and feelings, world religions, how to study the Bible, and critical thinking. I highly recommend Foundation Worldview. You can learn more @foundation_worldview.
- Apologetics Books for kids: Today, we read ‘Possums and the Empty Tomb, which goes over the main counterarguments against the resurrection. It helps children give arguments and proof as to why those arguments are wrong. Books by J.D. Camorlinga. All his books for kids are great!
In addition to his books, there are chapter books by Lee Strobel and Jay Warner Wallace that are great for kids, too.
I have all of their books listed in my Amazon shop in my bio.
Do you include apologetics in your Bible Time?
Warmly,
Mirley
