Dear Mama,
I have been diligently working on my children’s portfolios. It’s a lot of work, but it’s also a lot of fun. The children get to reflect on their school year and see all the progress they made!
To compile our portfolios, I purchase folders with cover slips and create a table of contents with cover pages for each subject.
The children select two to three of their best pieces of work for each subject. I add a reflection for each child on the back, along with their certificate of completion.
This is a great way to display and keep their best works for the year. Since I cannot keep everything, portfolios help me condense my children’s best work into one small space.
Do you keep portfolios?
Yours faithfully,
Mirley
