2024-2025 Curriculum Choices
Dear Mother-Teacher,
This year will be my 5th year homeschooling in the formal years. Since the beginning, I have followed the Charlotte Mason method, and more closely, I have included A Gentle Feast one way or another.
In the past, I combined A Gentle Feast with other history curricula. Although I learned a lot, I became confused and overwhelmed.
This year, I decided to all of A Gentle Feast. I believe that reducing the amount of mixing and matching will bring me peace. This week was our first time using it all, and we were delighted with the excellent books it contained.
I am also including apologetics from Foundation Worldview and Masterbooks for math.
Nevertheless, I give myself two weeks to make sure the curriculum I’m using works for our family and figure out how I should modify it.
With that said, remember that no curriculum is perfect, but there is one that makes better sense for you and your family. I pray that you may find that curriculum and grow in the Lord.
