2023-2024 Curriculum Picks
Dear Mama,
Charlotte Mason said, “We spread an abundant and delicate feast in the programmes and each small guest assimilates what he can” (Vol. 6, p. 183).
This is one my favorite Charlotte Mason things. Charlotte Mason believed that we need a variety of areas to study in order for the student to get a well-rounded education and have a love for learning.
This year I will have a third grader and a kindergartener. I can’t wait to see how their love for knowledge and learning grows. With that said, let me share with you what we will be using this year.
Family Morning Time
Bible: Answers in Genesis (Year 2)
Beauty: A Gentle Feast (Cycle 3)
The Family Feast
Geography: Simply Charlotte Mason
History: I’m making my own curriculum...we’ll see how it goes.
Natural History: A Gentle Feast
Nature Study: Brighter Day Press
Spanish: Speaking Spanish with Miss Mason and François, Volume 1
Family Tea Time
Habits Training

As you can see, when one follows the Charlotte Mason method, families get a variety of skills and enrichment in their education.
I wish you all a wonderful and successful new school year.
What’s one of your favorite CM things?
